Shocking News: KISS Bassist-Singer Gene Simmons Mysteriously Postpones April Tour Dates

Gene Simmons has mysteriously postponed his April tour dates as well as his Texas dates in May, according to a post from one of his representatives on social media

No cause was given for the postponement of the dates, which will be made up in early 2026, according to a post from Christina Vitagliano on Facebook, who’s in charge of Simmons’ VIP experiences.

In the post, shared by the Rock N Roll Experience’s Facebook account, Vitagliano assures fans that Simmons is OK. “Nothing wrong health-wise!” she wrote with a smiling face emoji.

She went on to state that refunds will be available wherever tickets were purchased but instructed those who bought “a bass experience” to email her to receive a refund or to move it to another date. “Super simple!” she wrote.

The “bass experience” refers to the VIP package that Simmons is offering fans that allowed them and three guests to meet Simmons and take home a Simmons bass that he will sign and personalize. He will also take pictures and videos with those who purchase the package for $6,500 for a non-stage played bass. For a bass played on stage, the package starts at $12,500.

He is also offering “the ultimate Gene Simmons experience,” which allows fans to serve as his roadie and personal assistant for the day for a mere $12,495.

KISS retired from touring in 2023, but Simmons is continuing to play shows with his solo project called the Gene Simmons Band. He sings and plays bass in the band that features Brent Woods (Sebastian Bach, Vince Neil) and Zach Throne (Corey Taylor), and drummer Brian Tichy (Billy Idol, Whitesnake).

Simmons former KISS partner Paul Stanley, meanwhile, is focusing on his passion as a visual artist. He’ll show his paintings on April 12 at the Wentworth Gallery at the Tysons Gallery location in McLean, Va.
