Eva Longoria Contributes $1 Million to Help With Wildfire Relief in Los Angeles
Eva Longoria is making a significant impact with a $1 million donation to help victims of the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. This contribution comes from the $50 million Jeff Bezos Courage and Civility Award that Longoria received in March. The funds, which she has a decade to use for charitable causes, will be directed to the Latino Community Foundation, led by Julian Castro, and the California Community Foundation. These organizations will assist with both immediate and long-term needs for individuals displaced by the fires.
The wildfires, particularly the Palisades and Eaton fires, have caused immense damage, displacing thousands of families and destroying over 12,000 structures around L.A. Celebrities like Beyoncé, Paris Hilton, Anthony Davis, and Jason Oppenheim have also joined in supporting the relief efforts, providing much-needed aid to those affected by the devastation.
