America Announces New Concept Album Release Date

Legendary folk-rock band America has revealed the release date for their upcoming concept album, reigniting excitement among fans worldwide.

In a surprise announcement today, the iconic duo behind America, Dewey Bunnell and Gerry Beckley, shared that their forthcoming concept album, titled “Horizons Reimagined,” will be released on September 20, 2025. The album is said to blend the band’s classic melodic storytelling with fresh thematic elements inspired by journeys, time, and reflection.

This marks their first studio concept album in over a decade, following a string of live releases and compilation projects. Beckley, who retired from touring in 2024, remains creatively involved, co-writing and producing several tracks.

“We wanted to create something that not only looks back on where we’ve been but also speaks to where we are now—musically and personally,” Bunnell said in a press release.

Fans can expect a blend of acoustic harmonies, lush instrumentation, and introspective lyrics. The band will preview select tracks during their ongoing Encore Tour 2025.

Pre-orders for Horizons Reimagined begin June 15 on all major streaming platforms and vinyl retailers.
