Bangles Unveils Lost Album Love Me More After 39 Years

Los Angeles, CA – May 10, 2025 — In a stunning and nostalgic surprise for fans around the world, iconic pop rock band The Bangles has officially unveiled Love Me More, a long-lost studio album that remained unreleased for nearly four decades.

Originally recorded in the mid-1980s during the height of their fame, Love Me More was shelved due to creative differences and label changes. Now, 39 years later, the band has restored and remastered the tracks, offering listeners a time capsule of unreleased harmonies, jangly guitars, and heartfelt lyrics that reflect the band’s golden era.

“This album is a missing piece of our story,” said lead vocalist Susanna Hoffs in a statement. “It captures who we were at a moment of creative fire, and we’re so excited to finally share it.”

The record features 10 previously unheard tracks, blending upbeat power pop with introspective ballads. Highlights include the title track Love Me More, the dreamy Silver Rain, and Broken Hourglass, a moody closer reminiscent of Eternal Flame.

With original members Susanna Hoffs, Vicki Peterson, and Debbi Peterson all involved in the release, and contributions from founding bassist Annette Zilinskas, the album feels authentically Bangles — timeless, melodic, and unmistakably powerful.

While there are currently no tour dates announced, the band has hinted at a possible limited run of live shows to celebrate the release.
