Great news: Pet Shop Boys announce release date for concert film ‘Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live’
The Pet Shop Boys have announced a release date for their concert film ‘Dreamworld – The Greatest Hits Live’. The film shows the band performing at Royal Arena Copenhagen, while on their huge tour which look place between 2022 and 2024.
The film, which has already been shown in cinemas, will now be available to fans on Blu Ray and CD from May 2025. The band shared the exciting news on social media writing: ‘We are delighted to be able to announce the long-awaited commercial release of “Pet Shop Boys Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live at the Royal Arena Copenhagen”! After being shot in the summer of 2023 and shown at cinemas a year ago, it will be released on Blu-ray/2CD on May 2nd, 2025. It is available to pre-order now at the link in bio.
‘The concert film captures PSB’s acclaimed #Dreamworld show with its dazzling visuals and set list packed with classic hits, including “West End girls”, “Suburbia”, “Opportunities (Let’s make lots of money)”, “Left to my own devices”, “Rent”, “Domino dancing”, “Love comes quickly”, “Always on my mind”, and “It’s a sin”. Directed by David Barnard in a 14-camera 4K shoot, the film provides an immersive experience for viewers. The package also includes two CDs of the concert audio.’

The song, when it was re-released, became a massive hit for the duo sending them to Number 1 and winning them a BRIT Award for Best Single and Ivor Novello Award for Best International Hit.
