Trump’s Inauguration Using Pricey Security Company To Secure Event

For Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony, the Secret Service has enlisted the help of Arcus Group LLC, a private security company, to ensure safety and security. The company received a hefty $8.1 million contract to manage the perimeter security during the event. Arcus Group is tasked with providing various security measures, including anti-scale fencing, barricades, mobile command posts, light towers, and portable bathrooms. Given the high-profile nature of the event and previous security threats during Trump’s campaign, the additional cost is necessary for enhanced protection. For comparison, the Secret Service had spent $7.5 million on private security for Joe Biden’s inauguration.
