Mariah Carey had to cancel a concert on her Christmas tour scheduled for December 11, 2024, in Pittsburgh due to illness. The 55-year-old superstar shared the news with her fans on social media, explaining that she had come down with the flu and deeply regretted having to cancel the show. Carey expressed her love for her Pittsburgh fans and apologized for the inconvenience.

Ticketmaster confirmed the cancellation and announced that refunds would be issued to ticket holders within the next 14 to 21 days. Mariah is expected to return to the stage for her next concert in Newark, New Jersey, on December 13, and will wrap up the tour with two performances in New York on December 15 and 17.
