Reacting to Rumors That She Dated ‘Phil of the Future’ Co-Star Raviv Ullman

Aly Michalka recently cleared up rumors about her love life during an appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, where she addressed speculation that she secretly dated her Phil of the Future co-star Raviv Ullman. Aly, 35, responded firmly, stating, “No, no. That’s funny,” and laughed off the idea that they had ever been romantically involved. Her sister AJ Michalka, 33, confirmed the story, saying, “Literally can attest: never even kissed.”

Aly explained that while she and Raviv, 38, who was known as Ricky Ullman at the time, shared a close friendship, nothing romantic ever transpired. She also noted the age difference between them at the time, with her being 13 and Raviv 16. However, Aly admitted to having a small crush on him during the casting for Phil of the Future. “I remember during the test, when I tested for Phil of the Future, and I saw that he was the other boy who was up for it, I was like, ‘He’s really cute,’” she recalled, but emphasized that once they became friends, any crush faded.

AJ also mentioned that they were good friends with Raviv’s girlfriend at the time. Despite the lack of romance with Raviv, AJ did reveal that her first kiss was with another Disney Channel star.
