Amid their on-court struggles, Pacers stars Tyrese Haliburton and Obi Toppin enjoyed a lighthearted moment off the court, treating their partners to a double date. Haliburton’s girlfriend, Jade Jones, shared a glimpse of the outing on her Instagram story, alongside Toppin’s partner, Magdalena Bellinger. The caption read “Movie dates,” giving fans a glimpse into their downtime.

Haliburton and Jones have been together since their college days at Iowa State, where Jones was a cheerleader and Haliburton was a standout for the Cyclones basketball team. Toppin and Bellinger have been in a relationship since 2020, during Toppin’s rookie season. The couple shares one child, and Toppin also has a son, Daniel, from a previous relationship.

Struggles Against the Charlotte Hornets

Both Haliburton and Toppin had a tough time in Sunday’s 113-109 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Haliburton managed only nine points on 4-of-10 shooting, missing all four of his three-point attempts but dished out eight assists. Toppin came off the bench to score 11 points, shooting 4-of-11 from the field, including 3-of-9 from beyond the arc.

Season Performance

Despite the recent setback, the duo has been reliable for the Pacers this season. Haliburton is the team’s third-leading scorer, averaging 17.5 points per game, along with a team-high 8.4 assists and 3.4 rebounds. Toppin has been an effective contributor off the bench, averaging 10.1 points and 3.8 rebounds while shooting 53.3% from the field.
