Megan Thee Stallion Files for Tory Lanez to Be Subject to a Restraining Order

Megan Thee Stallion has filed a new request for a restraining order against Tory Lanez, detailing ongoing harassment she claims to have endured from him, despite his imprisonment. Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence in California for shooting at Megan’s feet in 2020, but Megan alleges he continues to harass her through third parties.

In her filing, Megan accuses Tory of using bloggers, including Elizabeth Milagro Cooper (whom Megan previously sued), to spread defamatory statements about her. She claims that prison phone logs show a “conspiratorial relationship” between Tory and Cooper, with evidence of Tory’s father discussing payments to Cooper for the harassment. Megan also states that this “psychological warfare” has caused her significant emotional distress, contributing to a deep depression and estrangement from friends. Although she does not claim suicidal thoughts, Megan mentions feeling like she would have been better off had she died during the shooting incident, which underscores the toll the situation has taken on her mental health.

Megan has asked the court to issue a restraining order, demanding Tory stop all forms of harassment, whether directly or through third parties. Lanez is appealing his conviction, and Megan suggests that his ongoing false claims about her are part of his efforts to influence his appeal and reduce his prison sentence.
