Kim Kardashian Is Accused by Danny Trejo of Promoting Causes During Wildfires

Danny Trejo has called out celebrities like Kim Kardashian for using the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires to push their own causes, emphasizing that the focus should solely be on helping the victims of the devastating blazes.

In particular, Trejo took issue with Kim’s remarks about inmate firefighters being paid just $1 an hour for their dangerous work. While Kim advocates for raising the wages of these inmates, Trejo argues that their primary motivation is the reduction of their sentences, not the low pay. He clarified that inmates receive time off their sentences for volunteering as first responders, a benefit that outweighs the meager wages they earn.

Trejo also dismissed the idea of making the issue political, stressing that the focus should remain on the immediate crisis at hand, rather than on systemic issues.

In addition, Trejo warned any potential arsonists responsible for the fires that they would face severe consequences, adding that such individuals would be highly despised by fellow inmates due to the sheer destruction caused by these crimes.
