Juventus earned €32 million for their Club World Cup participation

Posted on July 4, 2025July 5, 2025 by sportsmars60@gmail.com

One of the biggest pieces of information that we actually had about the Club World Cup before things kicked off in the United States was how the payment structure was going to play out. It was a nice little table provided by FIFA, and from there would basically figure out how much Juventus could earn for each step they took at the tournament.

With Juve’s stay at the Club World Cup coming to an end earlier this week, the final total of money they’ve earned has been calculated.

And for four games, it certainly ain’t bad.

Al Ain v Juventus - FIFA Club World Cup 2025

Juventus earned a grand total of €32 million for their participation in the Club World Cup, a run that ended in the round of 16 with Tuesday’s 1-0 loss to Real Madrid at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. A bulk of that prize money comes simply from their initial participation bonus, estimated to be between in the neighborhood of €20 million, something that was “Determined by a ranking based on sporting and commercial criteria,” according to the FIFA website. Then comes the money Juventus earned for what they actually did on the field:

  • €1.9 million for their win over Al Ain
  • €1.9 million for their win over Wydad Casablanca
  • €7 million for advancing

Juventus would have earned around €12.2 million if they had beaten Real Madrid and advanced to the quarterfinals. The winner of the Club World Cup will get a €37.2 million windfall.

Real Madrid are the highest-earning team at the tournament thus far, with a payday of already €55 million heading into their quarterfinal matchup against Borussia Dortmund
