VAN HALEN FORMER BAND MEMBERS SET TO REUNITE FOR TRIBUTE TOUR

In a surprise move, former Van Halen band members David Lee Roth, Michael Anthony, and Alex Van Halen have announced plans to reunite for a tribute tour honoring the late Eddie Van Halen.

A Celebration of Eddie’s Life and Music

The tour, which is set to kick off in the summer of 2025, will feature a mix of Van Halen’s classic hits, including “Jump,” “Panama,” and “Runnin’ with the Devil,” as well as some deeper cuts and surprises. The tour will be a celebration of Eddie Van Halen’s life and music, and will feature a special tribute to the legendary guitarist.

We’re Doing This for Eddie

“We’re doing this for Eddie,” said David Lee Roth. “We want to celebrate his life and music, and give the fans a chance to experience Van Halen’s music live again. It’s going to be a wild ride, and we’re honored to have the opportunity to pay tribute to our brother and bandmate.”

Michael Anthony Returns

The tour will mark the return of Michael Anthony, Van Halen’s original bassist and backing vocalist, who has been absent from the band’s live performances since 2006. “I’m thrilled to be back with the guys, and to have the opportunity to pay tribute to Eddie,” said Anthony.

Alex Van Halen to Make Rare Appearance

The tour will also feature a rare appearance by Alex Van Halen, Eddie’s brother and Van Halen’s drummer. “I’m looking forward to getting behind the drums and playing some of our classic songs,” said Alex.
