Bradley Cooper Hosts ‘Six Triple Eight’ Tastemaker Screening in Support of Friend Kerry Washington!
Bradley Cooper and Kerry Washington’s long-standing friendship was on display when Bradley hosted a screening of Kerry’s new film The Six Triple Eight on December 16. The event, held at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City, brought together a range of notable figures, including Kerry’s co-star Ebony Obsidian and the film’s writer-director-producer Tyler Perry. Ambassador Nicole Avant, who produced the film, attended with her husband Ted Sarandos, CEO of Netflix, as well as other guests such as Gayle King, Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica, and Katie Couric.
The film, set to be released on Netflix on December 20, celebrates the inspiring story of the Six Triple Eight, the only all-Black, all-female battalion in World War II. Bradley and Kerry’s professional relationship dates back to their collaboration on a skit for Saturday Night Live‘s 40th anniversary special in 2015.
