The Replacements Band Members Set to Reunite for Tribute Tour

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — In a surprise announcement that has thrilled fans worldwide, surviving members of the iconic rock band The Replacements have confirmed plans to reunite for a limited tribute tour honoring the band’s enduring legacy and late guitarist Bob Stinson.

The tour, tentatively titled “Unsatisfied: A Tribute to The Replacements”, will feature Paul Westerberg, Tommy Stinson, and Dave Minehan, joined by guest drummer Josh Freese. While Chris Mars, the band’s original drummer, will not participate, he has given his blessing and is contributing exclusive artwork to be displayed during the shows.

The tribute tour will mark the group’s first live performances together since 2015, when they disbanded following their Primavera Sound appearance. According to insiders, the setlists will span the band’s entire catalog, including fan favorites like “Bastards of Young”, “Alex Chilton”, and “I Will Dare”.

No official dates have been released yet, but the band is expected to kick things off in late summer 2025, with stops in Minneapolis, New York, Los Angeles, and London.
