Korn Unveils Lost “Album Shadows of Silence” After 29 Years

In a stunning revelation that has thrilled fans worldwide, nu-metal pioneers Korn have officially released a long-lost album titled Shadows of Silence — a project that remained shelved for nearly 29 years.

Originally recorded during the early stages of their career, the album was thought to be a myth among diehard followers. According to lead singer Jonathan Davis, the tapes were recently rediscovered in an old storage vault during an extensive studio archive review.

“We were just kids experimenting with sound and aggression,” Davis said. “We never thought these tracks would see the light of day.”

Shadows of Silence showcases a raw, gritty sound that predates or coincides with their 1994 debut, offering fans a rare glimpse into Korn’s embryonic stage. The album features early versions of signature themes—alienation, inner turmoil, and distorted groove-heavy riffs.

To celebrate the release, Korn has announced a limited vinyl pressing, an exclusive documentary, and a surprise live performance of the entire album at a secret location.

The release marks a historic moment in the band’s legacy, bridging the past with the present and reigniting nostalgia in longtime listeners.
