A dinner date between Barack and Michelle Obama closes down Hollywood streets.

Barack and Michelle Obama’s dinner outing at the popular Hollywood restaurant Mother Wolf on Saturday evening was a reminder of the high level of security still surrounding them, even after almost nine years post-presidency. Their motorcade and Secret Service detail were in full force, creating a significant perimeter around the restaurant. This was in response to a previous incident in September, where a security guard working at an event above the restaurant got dangerously close to Obama’s SUV, despite Secret Service agents being nearby. The heightened security Saturday night ensured there was no repeat of that scare, with agents stationed at every corner, even as the couple left the restaurant. As they exited, fans and photographers shouted questions, including one about the potential shutdown of TikTok, but the Obamas remained silent on the topic.
