Cardi B requests that the court reject Tasha K’s bankruptcy since she has money from abroad.
Cardi B is actively pursuing the $3.4 million Tasha K owes her following their 2022 defamation case, where Cardi won after Tasha falsely accused her of being a drug-abusing prostitute with STIs. Despite Tasha’s bankruptcy claim, which states she has no assets to cover the judgment, Cardi’s legal team alleges that Tasha is trying to hide money to avoid paying.
Cardi’s attorneys have presented evidence suggesting Tasha has been transferring assets into her husband’s name and offshore accounts in places like the Cook Islands, Nevis, and Georgia. Cardi also claims that Tasha is living a lavish lifestyle, renting a $7,000/month apartment and flaunting expensive clothing, handbags, and jewelry on social media. Cardi is requesting the court dismiss Tasha’s bankruptcy case and prevent her from refiling for the next two years while she works to recover the owed amount.
