Southampton have learned about the asking price for number nine target Fotis Ioannidis but keeping that in mind, every opportunity should be passed upon except a tried and tested loan move.

Lastly, Ioannidis checking in at St. Mary’s will ruin a thrilling merry-go-round swoop but deep down every Saint will nod that a best solution is needed rather than an attractive one.
