Mike Oldfield Announces New Album and 2025 World Tour

Mike Oldfield, the legendary British musician and composer, has announced a brand-new album and a 2025 world tour. The album, titled “Return to Ommadawn,” will be released in October 2024, and the tour will kick off in March 2025.

A Return to Form

“Return to Ommadawn” will be Oldfield’s first studio album in over five years, and promises to be a return to form for the musician. The album will feature 12 new tracks, including the lead single “Moonlight Shadow (Revisited),” which will be released in June 2024.

2025 World Tour

The 2025 world tour will visit over 50 cities across Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia. The tour will feature a mix of classic Oldfield tracks, including “Tubular Bells,” “Hergest Ridge,” and “Ommadawn,” as well as new material from the upcoming album.
