New ‘Spider-Noir’ Actor Nicolas Cage Films Scenes in Downtown L.A.
Nicolas Cage is hard at work on the set of his new series Spider-Noir! The 61-year-old Oscar-winning actor was spotted leaving his trailer and heading to set on January 13 in downtown Los Angeles, dressed in a stylish gray three-piece suit.
Spider-Noir tells the story of an aging private investigator in 1930s New York, played by Cage, who is struggling with his past as the city’s only superhero. This isn’t Cage’s first time portraying Spider-Man Noir, as he voiced the character in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The series, which has already been officially ordered to series, will stream on MGM+ and Amazon Prime Video.
The show also stars Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, and Li Jun Li. Some recent set photos have sparked excitement, with speculation about the reveal of the series’ villain. Fans are eager to see how Cage’s character will develop in this live-action adaptation.
