Comedian Na’im Lynn claims that giving cards and gifts to friends is “inappropriate.”
Na’im Lynn, the comedian known for his friendship with Kevin Hart, has some very specific thoughts about holiday gifting, and it’s safe to say his friends shouldn’t expect any presents or cards from him. While speaking to reporters at LAX, Na’im explained that he doesn’t believe in giving gifts to friends during the holiday season, calling it “weird.” He went on to say that giving a card with a gift is even worse, pointing out that there are no cards specifically for best friends in the typical greeting card section.
Na’im humorously declared that Hallmark should avoid making friend cards, as he finds the idea “inappropriate.” Instead, he suggests showing love to friends in other ways, like paying for their meals or spending quality time together.
However, there is one notable exception to Na’im’s rule: Kevin Hart. Na’im confessed that he once bought Kevin a gift after they wrapped up a tour together, calling it a special situation where he wanted to express his appreciation for his best friend. It seems that Kevin is the one friend who gets a pass when it comes to Na’im’s usual no-gift policy!
