Brandi Glanville’s Suspected Face “Parasite” Causes “Deep Depression”

Brandi Glanville, the 52-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, is deeply troubled by an ongoing issue with her face. In a candid conversation on PageSix’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, she opened up about her struggle with a suspected “face parasite” that has caused significant changes to her appearance. Glanville explained that she is working with a doctor and has restarted antibiotics after noticing her face beginning to “sink in.”

She admitted that she feels overwhelmed by the physical changes, saying, “I prefer my face when it’s a little swollen, to be honest. When it’s only swollen on one side, it’s not great. But the sinking in thing is killing me slowly, because I just feel like I look like a crackhead.”

Her face has fluctuated, with some days appearing more normal than others. She described one weekend when only the right side of her face was swollen, which she likened to having “a really big meatball” in her cheek. She called the swelling “disgusting” and described it as feeling like her face was filled with an “oily fluid.” The fluctuating appearance has made it difficult for her to attend social events, particularly during the holidays, leading to feelings of isolation.

Brandi shared the emotional toll of the situation, saying that the pain is “more mental than anything.” She also revealed that she’s been going through a “deep, deep depression” and has even struggled with hiding her appearance from her children. At times, her children have been frightened by her face, prompting Brandi to wear a mask around the house to shield them from seeing her “scary” appearance.

Despite the hardships, Brandi expressed her strong desire for a solution, emphasizing that she is willing to try anything to improve her condition.
