Amy Slaton, star of “1000-lb Sisters,” reportedly admits to possessing drugs.

Amy Slaton, star of “1000-Lb. Sisters,” has reached a plea deal following her September 2024 arrest at the Tennessee Safari Park. She pleaded guilty to two counts of simple possession, receiving a suspended jail sentence of 11 months and 29 days, which she will not serve provided she complies with probation terms. These terms include completing an alcohol and drug assessment, attending parenting classes, paying a $500 fine plus court costs, and avoiding contact with the safari park during her probation. The child endangerment charge has been dismissed.

The arrest occurred after authorities, responding to a camel bite incident involving Slaton, discovered psychedelic mushrooms and marijuana in her vehicle, where her two young children were present.

Slaton, 37, shares two sons, Gage and Glenn, with her ex-husband Michael Halterman, from whom she finalized her divorce in September 2023.
