For the first time in nearly two decades, Sarah Hyland will star in “The Great Gatsby,” making her Broadway comeback.
Sarah Hyland is making her highly anticipated return to Broadway! The Modern Family alum, now 34, is set to take on the role of Daisy Buchanan in the Broadway adaptation of The Great Gatsby. According to People, she will step into the shoes of Eva Noblezada, who originated the role in the musical.
Sarah celebrated the announcement on her Instagram story, sharing, “Ten years ago, I hosted a Great Gatsby-themed NYE party. Now I’m playing THE Daisy Buchanan in @bwaygatsby on BROADWAY!!!!!!”
Performances begin February 10, 2025, at the Broadway Theatre in NYC, where Sarah will star opposite Ryan McCartan as Jay Gatsby, who joins the production in January. Tickets are already on sale for what promises to be an enchanting adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic.
This marks Sarah’s first Broadway appearance in nearly 20 years, having last performed in Grey Gardens from 2006 to 2007. She also recently showcased her musical talents Off-Broadway in Little Shop of Horrors (May–September 2024) alongside Andrew Barth Feldman.
