Harry Maguire has praised manager Ruben Amorim for his tactical acumen and the progress made at Manchester United under his leadership. Following a dramatic 2-1 victory over Manchester City in the Premier League, Maguire highlighted the team’s improved structure and playing style. He noted that Amorim has established a strong tactical foundation, and his work at the club is already showing promising results. Amorim, who took over at United on November 11, has led the team to four wins, two defeats, and one draw in seven games.
Amorim, who has a successful track record, including two Liga Portugal titles with Sporting CP, was also complimentary of Maguire’s performance in the Manchester Derby. He praised the defender’s effectiveness in the central role within a three-defender system, where Maguire was instrumental in containing City striker Erling Haaland.
